Re: Can't Connect to Oracle8 from Forms4.5

Check out the following:

• Listener.ora on the server should contain the same KEY as your connect-string
• The HOST-name should be reachable with TCP/IP (check it with PING-utility)
• TNS_ADMIN registry (W95 /W NT) should point to the right directory: default ORACLE_HOME/NETWORK/ADMIN with TNSNAMES.ORA, SQLNET.ORA on the client side and LISTENER.ORA on the server side.
