9M rows spilt into 48 partitions gives ca. 200,000 rows per partition.
Several dimension tables with 60,000 rows each (and dimensions row are often large).

Are there any high speed access paths that will allow Oracle to find the (I hope) small
number of relevant dimension rows before doing the star transformation ? Once the
dimensions are located, is the AND of the relevant bitmap pattern likely to return a
very small number of rows ?
