Yes, you can have same usercode in Oracle as in Operating System (NT). You have to do so after installing Oracle. I didn't find any connectivity problem. We are using SQL*NET V2.0 (TCP/IP). The user has to enter "/" when Oracle Logon screen appears. Actually it is good to have so because user need not enter same usercode/password twice. To achieve this, you have to create a new usercode in Oracle having same usercode used in Operating system but the new usercode must be prefixed with OPS$. Oracle does not expect any password for this new usercode because it trust the validation done by Operating System. thanks,
