Re: Installing Designer with PO07

Follow these steps.

Create a user with DBA privilages
Start the Designer and connect as this user When Application is to be selected, just click OK and ignore the error message.
You will get the Designer icon screen
Look for Repository admin icon and click it Select install from the scree and follow the instructions. One more thing. Before you
start this process, grant execute permission on DBMS_PIPE and DBMS_LOCK packages to
that user otherwise, you can not able to create any application in the repository.
Once you are done, Create a new application and you are set to go!!
