Oracle created a SQL*Net application proxy and has licensed it to several firewall vendors, including Checkpoint, Digital, and Trusted Information Systems (TIS). Check with one of these companies, or with your firewall vendor. Oracle does not sell or support firewalls.

One of my customers has succesfully installed the Gauntlet firewall from TIS. His firewall is on Solaris, his database is on HP/UX and he has a mix of 95 and NT clients. I'm not personally recommending TIS, just saying that I know it works.
