ODBC: It's 1998, give me a break Oracle!

Does anyone have any clue what options besides Intersolv are available as far as ODBC v3.0 fully supported drivers to connect via a Net8 client on Windows NT. Oracle's v8.0.4 ODBC drivers certainly suck, but what do you expect from Windows software written by Oracle. They don't support connection pooling, data type conversion (on several types) and other problems!!! Arghh, it's hard to pay $5,000 per processor to Intersolv if you are running web applications. Take a small IIS 4 web farm for example, 4 boxes with 2 processors a piece: $40,000. God damn, I might as well hire an ODBC developer to write some drivers??????
