I don't think that either of them will backup an Oracle database while it's in use. You'll have to use the Oracle 'OCOPY??.EXE' to hot-copy the database to another location and then back it up. I have mine running in the Scheduler service (AT commands) to ocopy the database at 12:00:00am, which is 15 minutes before the backup kicks off. Extremely reliable once it gets going.
