Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Redo log files are there, why I can not start the database?
Hi there,
I'm a new DBA in NT4.0 and Oracle 8.03. I got an alert message saying, "can not find archive log file". Accidentally, NT server and Oracle server are restarted.... Anyway, I got the following message:
ORA-01034;ORACLE not availabe ORA-09243; smsget; error attaching to SGA; OSD-04101; invalid SGA; SGA not initializedmy questions are
1) How can I get my database up running? 2) What cause the database not be able to find the archivelog file? 3) Why redo log files are not used, they are there in the directory and notlost?
Thanks in advance
