The only sad thing about OEM vs GUI Server Manager is that you must pay separate licence fee for OEM Performance Pack to be able to do any real database monitoring that you can do with GUI Server Manager (16 bit version) or even with good old SQL*DBA.

There is only 16 bit version of GUI Server Manager/Win which used to be shipped with earlier releases of Oracle7 (I have got it with 7.1 if I remember right). It runs OK on 16 bit Win3.1 and on Win95, while crashes instantly on NT 4.0. Oracle has no intention to release 32 bit version as they are pushing OEM forward.
