Re: OWAS 3.0 crashes remote database

I ran into the same problem and found that upgrading to 3.0.1 (Solaris 2.6) fixed the problem. I had also found (in 3.0.0) that if you disconnected the http connection (as in pressing "stop" in the browser) while a query with a fairly large cursor was running, it would cause a runaway process on the DB server that would eventually die off or kill the DB Listener. I also found the same to be true when I failed to close a cursor properly. It was a real mystery most times.
