There's a reason HP is very popular for factory/oracle types. Their little tower running 32 bit hpux 10.2 is very nice, much better than any intel. AIX is pretty good too. See www.rossinc.com for some testamonials (I am no longer affiliated with them) - they even have customers running in Portugese.
