Hi,
It all depends on your disk layout,disk heads,and the selection of jobs.CPU
criteria might be secondary.
If they are independent disks,It might help to start jobs in
parallel which do not write to the same disk.Again if you have only 2
controllers
it might be best to limit the jobs to 2.
If they are in a RAID config and striped out at
different levels,I feel (though I may be wrong) that it is best to let
them go sequentially
to avoid any possible contention.
