NT vs. Unix????

I have worked with 7.3.+. Unix boxes for me tend to be the winner in ALL aspect (except price).

As everybody else has been saying, there are more utilities for unix, robustness and scaleability - a definite for UNIX.

NT is very lacking. I have a dual Pentium 200 running 20-30 users 130Megs ram, and it is much slower then a sparc 10 dual and in some case a sparc 5.

For Remote connections to NT boxes to handle DBA type issues, the best way is to use PCANYWHERE (for svrmgr23 etc...).

There are telnet software out there like ataman or Sierra Telnet Services but these are limited telnet services for NT and you can't do everything like you would be doing if you telneting to a unix box.
