How to create Interchanges on NT

I'd like to set up an Interchange on our network between TCP/IP and Named Pipes.

I believe that I've created the appropriate intchg.ora on the appropriate node (addresses both refer to the node, one with a TCP/IP port and the other with a pipe).

How do I actually get the node to start doing the work - the only references I can find point to INTCTL 'described in the Multi-Protocol Interchange Network Administrators Guide'. We don't have this document...
