I just installed Oracle 8 and did the migration yesterday.
Re Import/ Export of data, i think that a migration nof the data without
using import export would be faster and easier.Oracle 8 provides a
migration utility for that.
Installing Oracle 8 was easy.Migrating data also.
Just be sure to shutdown ur oracle databases before installing oracle 8
and please do not kill the oracle database processes.
