Could ProC be a bigger turd?

I had this problem about two weeks ago. I traced it to a problem in my C code (using the typical programmer's tool: commenting out code through divide and conquer and binary search strategies.)

I forget the exact error, but it may have been due to included files ProC couldn't find, or missing quotes or semicolons.
