Oracle 7.3 as a Data Warehouse

I'm curious if anyone out there is using Oracle 7.3 running as a data warehouse. I'm specifically looking for a warehouse that is 40 - 50GB or larger. I'm curious about the experiences people have had with very large tables and how the CBO handles access, as well as general read times. Any input would be valuable. I'd just like to compare notes.
