Re: migration tool 7.3 > 8.0.3

I have successfully migrated a 7.3.3 database to 8.0.3 with no problem although I don't recall needing a convert.ora file. The only files that were created were a migrate.bsq in the 7.3.3 dbs directory and a convert<SID>.dbf file in the 8.0.3 directory. I am pretty sure that everything was run from the installer (having already installed the 8.0.3 software) , the only thing to remember is that the migration software should be installed under the 7.3.3 path and your Oracle environment variables should point here (I think!) when you run the migration.
