Help! How do I Connect to Oracle from VB 5.0

I am a student at Clark Univ. adult ed center in Framingham, MA this is all new and confusing to me.

I am trying to use a driver called " Microsoft ODBC Driver for Oracle". When I try to connect to the
data source I defined in the control panel 32bit ODBC icon I run into a problem.

First it starts up Oracle and I get a database is mounted message. Next I get a message that says data source has not been registered, this will now be attempted for you.

When I try to register the data source, I get a message which states " The setup routines for Microsoft ODBC Driver for Oracle ODBC driver could not be found. Please reinstall the driver."

Help! How do I connect to Oracle from VB.
