Hi,
I am currently facing the following problem - I installed
Oracle7 Server for Windows NT 7.2.2.4.0 on my machine (running
NT 4.0). The Oracle Instance ( am using the default starter)
does not start properly. If I look at the Services list,
the OracleService, OracleStart and TNS show up as started.
However, any attempt to connect gives an ORA-01033 -database
being initialized or being shutdown. Apparently, the instance
startup is hanging. Same results with a manual start with
oradim73. This ring a bell - anyone ??
