Help with Access 7.0 linked to Oracle 7.3

Hello everyone,
I'm getting a "Write Conflict" error when attempting to update rows in Access 7.0 tables that are linked to Oracle 7.3 tables. Inserting rows in Access works great. However, when attempting to update rows, I get the following error;

"Write Conflict - This record has been changed by another user since you started editing it. If you save the record, you will overwrite the changes the other user made. Copying your changes to the clipboard will let you look at values the other user entered, and then paste your changes back in if you decide to make changes."

This is followed by 3 buttons, "Save Record, Copy to Clipboard, and Drop Changes". However, the "Save Record" button is disabled.

There are no other users changing this record. Any ideas as to what is causing this problem and how to get around it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bruce
