   Seconded. Check out mysql. That's much better, but it's still not a real    SQL. <URL:http://www.tcx.se>

   I don't know if it runs on BSDI or FreeBSD, I'm reading the documentation    right now. It looks promissing.

There is also the GNU SQL Server. It is still very beta, it can be found at ftp://alpha.gnu.ai.mit.edu/gnu/gnusql-0.7b5.tar.gz or at http://www.ispras.ru/~gsql

A lot of good work needs to be done there but I think if a lot of 'us' would pull it could become a very nice GNU product.
