ORACLE FINANCIAL REPLICATION

We have 100 gig Oracle financials database. We need to create a query only server that is a full copy of production. Can we use oracle replication to do that or 2,000 objects will be too much for transaction replication? Any ideas, comments?
Our system is AIX 4.1.4 Oracle 7.1.6
