Replication and LONG fields

Hi,
We are trying to implement a two server multi-master replication but I've read that you can't replicate (row-level replication) a LONG field. We have only ONE table that uses a LONG field. Any experience on people that did do some sort of replication on a LONG field would be very appreciated.
