ulimit on Solaris

All,

I am currently installing Oracle Server 7.3.3 on Solaris 2.5. I am at the point in the installation that requires root ( root.sh). The script is returning a message "Please raise the ORACLE owner's ulimit as per the IUG." I have used the unlimit command to raise the limits as high as I understand they can go ( I am not to familiar with limit, ulimit or unlimit except for what the man pages tell me). Any help in getting passed this proble would be appreciated.

Thanks,
