PL/SQL tables datatype

Could any one explain to us in PL/SQL table datatype, is there any
limitation for example size, memory usage, etc... ?  Also when using
table datatype in PL/SQL which memory does the PL/SQL uses? is it SGA,
private area, or OS ?
