Problems with export - ORA-6550

I have been having a problems with an export for a couple of months and have no idea why this error occurs (at random seemingly).

I perform a full export of the database and occassionally receive the following error :

. . exporting table WELL_CORE_HDR 0 rows
exported
. . exporting table WELL_CORE_METHOD

EXP-00008: ORACLE error 6550 encountered
ORA-06550: line 0, column 0:
PLS-00801: internal error [76180]
EXP-00222:
System error message 2


. . exporting table             WELL_CORE_OVERLAPS

EXP-00008: ORACLE error 1003 encountered ORA-01003: no statement parsed
. . exporting table WELL_CORE_SAMPLE
EXP-00008: ORACLE error 1003 encountered ORA-01003: no statement parsed

Once I hit the first error, every table after fails to export and I get the same error.

I am running all this on a SGI Challenge running IRIX 5.3 using Oracle 7.2.3.0.1.
