        We do have this problem too in Netware. Strange that this does not happen before we upgrade from Oracle 7.1 to 7.2. But we managed to get a workaround (?). It is stupid, but it did work: after you startup your database, do a shutdown immediate and startup again next. After this step, no more abends unless I play too much with svrmgr or sqldba. For running applications, it went well more or less...
