RPC calls from ORACLE server

Does anyone know if it's possible to make RPC calls from within the
ORACLE server?


The intention is to call an ORACLE stored procedure from the
Powerbuilder client, and the Stored Procedure on the ORACLE server would
make an RPC 


call to another process running on the same unix box.
Is this possible? if so, how? is there some product that would enable
this?



Any help, pointers to references, would be much appreciated.
