Migration problem

In a few weeks I have to migrate a 7.2 database onto a new compter that for O/S reasons has to run 7.3 but I cannot do a full export to disk for space reasons and am reluctant to export to tape. Can I do a full export with rows=n and then build up the database after or will i run into problems with systems objects. Any advice or better suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
