I am running Oracle 7.3.2 on AIX 3.2.5 and was checking out what files had I/O activity. Lo and behold, two Oracle files did: $ORACLE_HOME/otrace/admin/regid.dat and process.dat.

Anyone know why these files would have high I/O activity?
