I feel Compress=y is better in most cases. If you have MINEXTENTS parameter set for your tables, then COMPRESS=Y may create problems while importing. Compress=y will create an initial extent that is large enough to accommodate all the records in a table. Because of MINEXTENS parameter, It will allocate MINEXTENTS number of extents with the Modified Initial extent value.
