Home -> Community -> Usenet -> c.d.o.server -> Q: complete and utter weird database errors (crashing!)
This is what appears in our alert file.
Notice the KCF error (?)
What is this, oracle or unix?
How can I find out what lies at that block, because almost every time that that database crashes, we get this block showing up. We have even moved tablespace around to different disks, and still the same block appeared.
We have a raid system, which may be the cause. Who the hell really knows what a raid does internally anyway?
Notice also that out redo log files are mirrored from a regular disk to a raid.
Please help???
