Hi!
As far as telling which client machine is actually connected There are a few ways to do it
1. Use the terminal column in the V$session to find out which terminal is accessing it.
2. netstat -a will give you some useful resources.

lsof is a public domain software written by a guy in Purdue. It will available in Solaris 2.4. In solaris 2.5 and above a similar program by name pfiles does the same.
