Perhaps you should mention something about the fact that Oracle can be obtained to run on OS-Z (mainframe), VMS (old DEC now HP OS), UNIX including IBM AIX, HP-UX, and SUN Solaris, plus linux (Red Hat and SuSe)

As of early Dec 2005, "Oracle now holds world records for the three largest scale factors in database performance and four of the five TPC-H performance records, ranging from is size 300GB to 10TB." Taken from 12/8/2005 5 Minute Briefing.
