I doubt that very much.
Based on what you write, and your desire to counter myths, I suspect you prefer to take a pattern as a starting point. Then analyze it, understand it, improve on it if possible, and use it where it is applicable ... and discard it when it is wrong.
(And, in the case of invoking Korn shell as a default, prepare for future evolution. I'd even envision embedded comments.)
Very contrary to the 'I just need to get it done - don't have time to think' attitude that I referenced in my cynical post (and have seen and followed with the broom and dust-bin many times).
