Sorry, but I don't think that will work because it won't discard the
unnecessary end rows. I was trying to figure out if there was some way
that I could number the rows such that the correct links can be
calculated with numbers, but it didn't really work out because of the
same reasons I listed above.
Well, thanks for the help everyone, I think I'm just gonna have to implement it procedurally. Unfortunately that means that this thing will probably take forever to run.
