No dispute on the 'search engine' aspect at all.
As long as people emember that http://docs.oracle.com is an alias to the docco without the search engine front end. And that is still up!
I still stand behind my statement - docs is the alias for the docco site; tahiti was a proof of concept, way back when. I now add, and tahiti has [had] superior search capability. (Qualifier to be removed after seeing the result of maintenance.)

In Red Deer this week (spatial), mostly unavailable during reasonable hours ... would (eventually) appreciate the contact though.
OT - How's prep for next week & OOW? Anyone planning an OOW blog to up date those of us who can't make it?
