Already read this paper, but I don't want to use files as storage-disks for ASM. I don't wanna use normal raw-devices because they are much slower than devices provided by oracleasmfs. If someone can just list known reasons for these disks not showing up or point me to other docs I would appreciated that. I also did read the Installation Guide for UNIX, but it does not cover having problems with oracleasmfs.
