tab labels width and the navigational arrows...

I was wondering how the tab pages and the labels (number of characters in the label) have an affect on the navigational arrows on the upper left hand of the tab pages.

The problem is that I grabbed an already existing 11 tab canvas and deleted 2 tabs and added 2 different one's, all of a sudden the appearing width became fixed and changed to showing only 11 or 12 characters without showing the navigational arrows. I added 10 more tabs to check and the arrows appeared but the width was still fixed. The problem is that I want to see the whole label but can't because I am only seeing the first 11 or 12 characters ( 11 or 12 depending on width of the character " i and m don't have same width " ).

Is there a way to have the tabs showing the whole label and show the arrows ?

Ok I think I found something.

We are on developper 6i and we run our applications on web forms.

When we have smart-classed everything and for the tabs we have by default put to fixed.

When we run it on client/server it shows up fixed but as soon as we run

it on form web it does not show up fixed but variable which mean it does not seem to accept the width style on web form.

Does anyone have an answer to that problem. Received on Thu May 12 2005 - 11:50:03 CDT
