Not being a frequent poster and having not read up on etiquette, I top posted because I like to read the last comment straight away and not have to scroll to the bottom every time.
Likewise with the full quote.

I will take your point into consideration with future posts and adhere to common etiquette, but I must say that I found your remark quite condescending, definitely not in the spirit of a public forum dedicated to sharing insight and knowledge.
