The perl program resides on the database server and it cannot be made
available to other servers. Why? That's a separate issue that I've been
dealing with for sometime.



The problem is I do not have access to the database server and the only
way of calling  the perl program is via some extproc or java proc. I
figure java proc would be much easier.
