Nope CBO is out.

Yes I can use HINTS but they don't seem to help but then I'm not real good with hints.

As for going up to 10, not any time soon. :( This mess is part of a Manugistics system and they control the DB, hell you outa here the screams when my group tries to add a trigger to stop the users from doing stupid stuff.

Other info - this is part of a Pro-C program (embeded SQL). The data input is from an EDI file, is in EBCDIC and is VERY large. (Feeling like your stuck in a time warp yet?) Received on Thu Mar 17 2005 - 07:56:56 CST
