Performance is ok with out approach.

Agreed. But we simply could not convince them. Ever tried to convince people from financial departments?

We told a similar example to our customer. Answer: "If such thing happens, you have to note it in a special book together with number, date (including time) and you have to sign it!" And so we implemented it. :-(
