9iAS configuration for external SSL card

We are trying to implement SSL using an external CISCO catalyst SSL card. The purpose is to move the overhead of encryption off the server running the appliation server.

The blade is configured to accept http packets on the "real" IP no for the host and https on an alias/secondary IP no.

Testing has shown that the URLs work for the real IP address but not for the secondary IP address - instead the browser reports a http 404 page not found msg.

The secondary IP no is set up as an alias on the system - direct telnet to the ports at IP numbers works. So far, we have done no configuration on the server in httpd.conf or apache.conf.

Are you able to tell us if we do need to do this and if so, what are the changes required?

Any assistance would be extremely appreciated.
