As with all of Oracle's technolgy, I'd recommend starting at Oracle TechNet (http://otn.oracle.com).
They have a separate 'Technology Center' for Oracle's implementaiton of XML. (See OTN home page, left side menu.) Lots of tutorials and write-ups.
From there, Oracle's documentation (http://docs.oracle.com or button at top of OTN) provides full details, albeit somewhat a tough slog. But it's mandatory to be aware of this and be able to wade through it when needed - except for errata, most questions are answered there.
I personally like Muench's book 'Building Oracle XML Applications', pub. by O'Reilly because it includes a number of tutorials, including how to install and use JDeveloper. It is several years & versions out of date but still very relevant. (http://oracle.oreilly.com)
I've skimmed Oracle XSQL (ISBN: 0471271209) and have it on my 'must have, when budget allows' list.
Anyone had a look at "Oracle Database 10g XML & SQL : Design, Build, & Manage XML Applications in Java, C, C++, & PL/SQL" from Oracle Press (http://www.oraclepressbooks.com)? It sounds interesting.
Hitting Amazon's search with 'Oracle XML' produced a number of results as well.
