Deleting tempfile will not show in any results on the Solaris Df -k level

hello

i juste dropped a tempfile from the temporary tablespace and recreated it with a smaller size it was 9 gigas now 500 Megas but when i try a df -k command i still have the old value left i mean i have 2.9 gigas left on the device and i should have about 12 gigas left
it's even more strange , when i used the du -sk command before deleting it was 28 gigas and now it's 21 gigas so the file size is really 500 Mbytes and not 9 gigas !

i don't understand , i think it's related to file handling trick from oracle but why du shows the correct informations and not df ?
