Metalink is the name for Oracle's Support system. Access is provided by Oracle by signing up for an annual contract.

You will find that most people will not post information from metalink as that is a violation of their support agreement and a violation of copyright laws. (People who do post metalink articles can find themselves without metalink access, and possibly with a call from some friendly legal types.)

If anyone is even mildly serious about being an Oracle professional, they should consider paying for a license of Oracle product and purchasing support. It's not necessarily very expensive - eg: Personal Edition lists at USD$400, and the support is roughly USD$100 (annual).

Interestingly, a Google of "Dr. Watson JREW Oracle" also yields relevant result.
