Yeah.. it may be caused by an undo segment shrinking, causing the segment header to show less extents than what the transaction table think there is.

It also may be caused by sunspots. Or exposed nipples from a malfunctioning wardrobe...

Or the DBA wearing a soft silky and sexy black number under his trousers... (do you feel sexy today?)

But then we will never know.. not without you providing a lot more detail.

Okay. Fine. Keep your pants on if you insist. But dammit, at least give us the *full* error message PLUS your o/s and Oracle versions to fondle.
