IIRC duplicate definitions are not allowed, and you need to make sure the aliases are on 1 line, so
127.0.0.1 localhost 3CG7501

I guess you can try it using the dos ping command. If you ping one of these hosts, and your computer starts to connect to the Internet, you know the hosts file is not correct.
